Tarasenko Tamara Andriivna (1939-1992)

 She was born on May 24, 1939 in Moscow. In 1962 with honors graduated from department of Russian language and literature of philological faculty of the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov state University.

In 1964 began to work in student’s library of university at a position of the senior librarian. Since May 1968 – the teacher of Russian for student’s foreigners of philological faculty of the Odessa state university.

Since 1987, Tarasenko T. A. was engaged in nongovernmental welfare institutions. She headed various charities and social assistance to the needy.

In 1988, she was appointed the director of Scientific library with the strategic plan of transformation of library to the powerful scientific cultural center, in base of the numerous and various voluntary cultural organizations and societies. However, to realize these plans did not succeed. In 1989, Tarasenko T. A. resigns.

As the teacher of the Odessa state university Tamara Andreevna of one of the first in the USSR developed and began to read at humanitarian faculties of the Odessa state university a special course on history of the Russian philosophy of the 20th century. In the pedagogical activity showed genuine respect of advantage, to thoughts and features of the identity of students.

In 1991, feeling pain from an incurable disease continued teaching activity, considering a duty to finish the begun course of lectures by the end. In May of the 1992nd, on the eve of the death, she held the last seminar with students of law department of the Odessa State University.
