On April 19, 2017 at the Odessa national university of I. I. Mechnikov seminars which were held the official representative of the Clarivate Analytics Company in Ukraine Tykhonkova Iryna Oleksandrivna, Candidate of Biological Sciences, senior researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Representatives of editorial boards the seminar “Scientific publications: basic requirements, competitive models on the basis of data of Web of Science” allows to weigh strong and weaknesses of the edition and to define a vector of further development. Thanks to the use of Web of Science resources, the editorial colleges have the opportunity not only to monitor the performance of their publication, but also to search for potential authors and reviewers, to analyze the problems of the scientific field and to determine actual trends.
On a training “Possibilities of the Web of Science platform for high-quality scientific research” for the academic community of higher education institution questions of search of relevant information by means of the Web of Science Core Collection database, selection of profile editions for publication of results of scientific research in Journal Citation Reports were considered, use of the information EndNote online tool for execution of the publication at the same time minimizing mistakes and time, distribution of the scientific achievements and search of potential coauthors for ResearcherID help.
