The critical word of Professor Grigory Andriyovych Vyazovsky: to the 100th anniversary of his birthday

February 2, 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vyazovsky Hryhorii Andreevich – a literary scholar, a scientist, a professor of ONU named after I. I. Mechnikov. On this occasion, the scientists of the Scientific Library prepared a virtual exhibition “The Critical Word of Professor Grigory Andriyovych Vyazovsky”. The exhibition briefly presents the scientific directions of research of the professor, acquaints with his dissertations and main monographs, outlines the literature on the scientist.

To the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian revolution

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 22, 2016, “On Measures to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Events of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921” a presentation was prepared on which the Ukrainian Revolution was presented in Odessa’s periodicals 1917–1921. Also in the virtual view photos and archival documents of the revolutionary era are reflected.

All-Ukrainian Taras Shevchenko Society of Prosvita – 150 years old!

In 2018, 150 years since the foundation of the All-Ukrainian Taras Shevchenko Society of  “Prosvita” . This organization advocated the preservation of the Ukrainian nation, its culture, language and history, and countered the processes of denationalization of Ukraine.
